London Eye

London Eye is one of London’s most famous modern landmarks and one of the tallest observation wheels in the world.

History

• Opened: In 2000 as part of London’s Millennium celebrations.
• Height: About 135 meters.
• Originally called the Millennium Wheel.
• Designed by architects David Marks and Julia Barfield.
