Frida Kahlo Museum, also known as La Casa Azul (The Blue House), is the former home of the celebrated Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. It is one of the most visited museums in Mexico.
History
- Built in 1904 by Frida Kahlo’s father.
- Frida was born here in 1907, lived here for much of her life, and died here in 1954.
- In 1958, the house was opened as a museum to preserve her legacy.
